Partly ski trails, some singletrack. Look for the cement cistern. Mostly expert off the ski trails.

Summary:
Great trail, switchbacks could use some work due to some wash outs. The initial climb might get you but the downhill single track after that is a blast. Bueatifull views of the river and city once ontop of the bluff. The views are worth the ride alone.

Summary:
Found the trail much fun. The climb up loosended a couple of critical screws on my bike but a good samaritan at the neighborhood on top of bluff supplied some tools to fix-er-up. Nice views of Winona and Ol' Miss river from the top. It is well manicured singletrak with a couple wooden bridges and only a few spots that are overgrown. The problem I found with the trail is that it has absolutely no signage except for the entrances and it is a maze of trails. I believe I rode up the intended down track and down the intended up track. I was determined to ride down a different way than the path I rode up but three times ended up in the same spot -it was like a mountain biking version of the twilight zone.

Recommended Route:
take the gradual hill up, the steep one down. Follow the signs that aren't there and you wont have a problem...

Lebanon Hills, Eagan MN

Summary:
Great climbing and some really tricky singletrack. The lower portion is wider (double track) which leads to the single track. There are few trailmarkers so I was never sure if I was on the right trail, but that sort of made it fun. The view from the top is superb and well worth the climb. I was able to get 10 miles in by riding the loops at the top. A great ride especially considering this is the Midwest, not the Rockies. Thanks to the fine folks in Winona for making this trail possible.

Recommended Route:
Read the other reviews. STAY RIGHT and you'll find your way to the top.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
I don't know any others in this area.
