Weekend Warrior Summary: Great trail. This was the first real single track that I have ridden, and it is amazing. Constant switchbacks, climbs, decents, log crossings. You name it, Blast has it. Bring plenty of water, because theres no turning back. The last day I rode it it was 95deg out, and i wish i had brought more. Others have said it, but plan on stopping to drink. Theres no time to do it going.
enjoy Recommended Route: same

, from Bloomington, MN Summary: Lots of ups and downs - no kidding! Tons of uphill switchbacks that you will find yourself swearing at later on. There are some technical obstacles, the occasional log in the path and those famous "blast" log piles to maneuver over. If you are an advanced rider, nothing too extreme here, but a lot of fun and a long 7 mile trail. If you are intermediate there are plenty of challenging spots. If you are a beginner, don't feel bad, walk your bike over those spots! Mostly single track, they (blast) had little land to work with and made it a big trail! Bravo to blast!!! Fun, fun, fun! and refreshing new trail to try! Recommended Route: From the cities, take 169 north into Elk River, stay on 169, it branches off from Hwy 10 that takes you into downtown Elk River, stay on 169 to Princeton. It is then the first stop light, Hwy 12, take a right and it is about 1/2 mi. on your right, look for Biffy and small dirt parking lot - there are no signs, but probably for the best!
