Cross Country Rider Summary: So, it's a public park, right? I drive an hour and a half because people say it's fun and I happen to be in the midwest... closed for hunting season.
I have no problem with private parks closing for hunting, ala Big Bear in WV. However, this is a public park. Closing it for one group is ridiculous. Perhaps I don't understand Michigan's "culture," but that wouldn't fly anywhere else I've ridden. Recommended Route: Another park. This one is closed Other recommended trails in the same area: Winona Lake

Cross Country Rider Summary: I ride mostly in Wisconsin and in Illinois but I was in Southern Michigan so I decided to give this a try. Very Nice single track course. Nothing to hard, but it is just a well maintained, fast, 10 mile loop. Highly Recommended.

Racer Summary: Lawless has about a 10mile circuit is mostly hardpack singletrack. Climbs are moderate. There are some fun dropoffs and short rollers built in to the trail. They have a rce here that is part of the Tailwind series. There are options throughout the trail to ride the race course sections or easier sections of the trail.
Interesting that a previous poster says that the last 3rd of the trail is smooth. He opted to take the easy trail which is smooth. Had he taken the full trail he would have found more drops and rollers and more fun singletrack. Recommended Route: If you want an easy ride, choose the easy sections. Ride the full course for a more fun ride. Other recommended trails in the same area: Fort Custer, Yankee Springs. Spend a weekend and ride several of the trails.

Weekend Warrior Summary: I was really dissapointed in this trail after reading the reviews. The first and last third are completely smooth and not at all technical. The middle third is the most fun with the biggest hills in the loop. Nothing here is really what I define as technical. The 5 log launches on the biggest hill maybe, but they are only 5 inched high if that. We probably should have know what we were in for when the married couple on low end bikes and the Dad with 9 year old kids went out on the 'advanced' trail.
Only thing that made the trail not a complete regret is it's very twisty. Otherwise it's just hard and smooth. Not what I thought after reading the reviews and riding at Fort Custer. I really felt sorry for my friend who came from PA this weekend. Unless your in the immedeate area, it isn't worth traveling to IMO.

, from Holland Summary: This trail had a little bit of everything. I was a pleasure to ride. I am a competitive rider and enjoyed this trail. The jumps are excellent. I even got to Bunny hop roots going up hill. The drop off is something else. First time through I almost went over the bars. The second sime I pulled up and jumped it smoothly. The drop off blends in with the hill so be carefull. I rated this trail a 5 for a few reasons below. Small but still good hills. Alot of Everything on This trail. A few good fast sections. Well Kept Length So overall I like this trail and mayy ride again this year. Its a trip away from home but worth it a few times a year.
Recommended Route: Advanced Section (Although not to Advanced) Other recommended trails in the same area: Ft Custer, Yankee Springs, Cannonsburg Game Area
