Summary:
I ride this trail regularly but have not made it out much this year. I was really disappointed in the new route that was needed between posts 15 and 16. I get that woods are sometimes logged off and I don't have an issue with that. I also appreciate whoever made the new section - I know that's a lot of hard work. However the new section (like the section between posts 7 and 8) does not seem to match the wide open, sweeping curves of the rest of the trail. To me it is a big drawback on an otherwise fun trail to ride. That being said, this is no reason to avoid this trail. It's still a lot of fun and is in terrific shape except the seciton noted above.

Recommended Route:
Follow all the sign posts. If you want to avoid a big slowdown and just keep pedaling full speed, take the 2 track at post 6, take the second 2 track to the right, then bear left and hit post 8. If I knew of a way around the new section between 15 and 16 I would post it.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Sand Lakes - Other than a boring section on the back stretch a good ride.
Lake Ann Pathway - A shorter ride but with lots of fun hills.
Vasa XC Ski - Lots of routes from moderate to more hills than any old guy like me cares to climb.
Cadillac Pathway - Nice distance and terrain to please just about any skill level.

Summary:
Well maintained, and great flow (even the tight section people whine about below). The hard work put in by whoever cut and maintains this trail is appreciated. I really liked railing all the banked turns.

My only complaint is that the trail is overly sanitized. Sure you can just turn off your brain and hammer, but that eventually gets boring. You don't have to remove every 6-inch tree that falls over the trail. The best approach I've found with a high-use trail is a dual track/feature combo. Give riders the option to attack a technical feature, or bypass with a cheater route. The key is to make the cheater route take more time, so the rider who cleans a feature gets an effective time bonus. There are lots of prime locations on this trail to do this.

This would be a great trail for a rigid singlespeed.

Recommended Route:
Very well-marked. Just follow the map and signposts

Sand, rolling elevation, pine needles, grass in the middle of the trail.

the one that leads to the parking lot

Other recommended trails in the same area:
I'm not really from the area, the best I can reccommend is the TART trail.

Summary:
We rode this trail 6/24/07. It was a nice hard single track with tons of switchback. In fact some of it almost made me dizzy! Lots of tight spots, especially between points 6 and 7. Rode the entire trail, took less than an hour and a half. Nothing too difficult, we're used to much more uphill. The trail was pretty, could use some trimming as some of the spots are quite overgrown. Overall a nice trail for a more leisurely ride. Will ride again.

Recommended Route:
Only one way, that's the trailhead at Supply Road.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Cadillac Pathway, Big M, North Country

Not impressed.. Really surprised of the positive reviews on this trail. I would expect more from a trail with that much available land.
