, from Holland Summary: I am leaving a 3 based on few things. 1.) The fee is outragous 6 bucks. Come on. 2.) For a fee that large there is no markings in the most crucial spots. The Y Turns and other areas. Sure there are markings. But when it comes up to a turn there are no markings. 3.) Most of the maps are hardly readible from weather and then they are torn down. So its a decent trail. I would like to leave a 3.5 but cant so I am not going to give it the benefit because of the price. Anything with the 6.00 fee should be perfectly marked. So about the trail. There are some sandy spots throught the trail. Nothing to major. I didnt find the Hills near complex as some people. Sure there steep but there either steep and short or shallow and long. So in my words I love hills and they proved to be pretty wimpy. Dont get me wrong I liked this trail. I wont ride it again unless I have some people with me or a group. It got my heart rate up but not much more. So drop the price a little. Mark the turn-offs and provide maps for the paying people and this trail would be worth a 4.5 Recommended Route: Blue Route. Started on Red Other recommended trails in the same area: Review this site and you will see more.

, from CHICAGO Summary: Please this is a Scouters paradise, the small fee that is paid is for upkeep of the trails. As for Cabby I hope I never run into you on the trail as they are also hiking for those of us that are Scouts.

, from Grand Rapids Summary: Please tell me better directions to this trail so that I can go there and ride for free. Only idiots with the "fear of god" would feel a need to pay to ride. Recommended Route: Backwards and try to lock your brakes as much as possible. Other recommended trails in the same area: Your Mamas behind trail

, from Whitehall, (Where the trail is, not MUSKEGON) Summary: Aside from the idiots that dont pay and the ones that love to tear the trails up by locking up their brakes, this is a very cool place. It is seeing a lot more traffic now, but I get there before 9:00 am on sat and sun. and never see anyone. Its nice to have this in my backyard, but it is too bad so many people need to take advantage of it. 30-40 bucks to ride this property is nothing, you will not see too many areas this prestine in lower MI. kudos to the boyscouts for allowing us to enjoy their land. Recommended Route: all routes are nice, gives you a bit of a change in scenery. Red is a good test of will power with the climbs and descents. Other recommended trails in the same area: pentwater, north country. There is also a trail in the works on some federal land in montague that should turn out pretty nice if it ever gets finished.
