Horseshoe Harbor Trail
1 reviews
 4 of 5

Horseshoe Harbor Trail cuts off to the northeast near the middle of a rising climb in the Mandan with a view of East Bluff to the south. The trail winds around for 1.5 miles then forks. The left fork runs 0.5 miles downhill to Horseshoe Harbor on the shore of Lake Superior. The right fork runs 4 miles (stay on the left forks going out) before popping out on the lake shore then runs an additional 2 miles along the lake shore where the trail ends. This trail is double track packed dirt. There are technical climbs on both the short Horseshoe Harbor fork and the longer 6 mile fork. The 2 mile stretch along the lake shore is stony and a bike with suspension is recommended.
