warwick road/boyne highlands

lots of fun single track leading to the back side of boyne highlands ski resort. miles of trails to ride on,mostly public land. in the peak summer season, the highlands operates a ski lift to access their downhill course, which they barely advertise but should, it would be a much bigger thing.ride around front, ride the chair up(small fee or free for winter boyne pass-holders) and ride the long rides back to your car on the back side. highly recommend ive been riding there for years and still have fun

Summary:
These trails have alot of fun. They utilize the terrain very well and have some of the best flow of any trails that I've ridden anywhere in the USA. Now Im not saying that they are overy technical(their not) but they are fun. The trails are fairly well marked but that wont stop you from getting lost because there is a lot of single track here.

We parked off of Warwick road. There is a dirt parking area under the powerlines right after you turn left onto Warwick which does not have a sigh coming up the hill on Emmet height raod from 119. these trails are worth the effort if you are in the area.

Recommended Route:
Try finding the Orange loop and stay on that until it comes to a fork with no sign. There will be two rocks pilled on top of one another. Make a left there and enjoy the decent of fast switchback and rollers. A very cool section of trail. Continue by climbing back up on the bleu then to the yellow.
