the dirt is a little sandy, but come when its wet and they will be pretty good. a six pack, 20 footer, 15 footer to step up, a table top, and some small jumps.talk to Modern Extreme SportS for good directions and riding partners.
go to the vasa ski trail head, there is aBMX track, go to the top of that, and there will be a trail into a field. in that field there will be dirt jumps.
Summary: this is the only set of dirt jumps in traverse city. a six pack, a big gap, some little jumps, a table top, and the best one, a fifteen foot or so gap into a ravine thing. THESE JUMPS HAVE BEEN RENAMED! WE WERE WITHOUT A NAME, SO WE NAMED IT AFTER THE MAIN BUILDER. THEY ARE NOW NAMED, the sandlot jumps BECAUSE THEYRE SO SANDY. if you have a better name, write it down and leave it where we can see it. talk to modern extreme sports to see when there will be people out there.
Recommended Route: secret, talk to the MESS
Other recommended trails in the same area: the state hospital

Summary: okay place. 6 pack is kinda cool, the first set is wierd, its tall and short, i dont think its possible to do it on full sus. the last one rocks, the lip is super solid an wide,. good for tricks. the best one is definately the one into the pit, it has super nice flow and you can just hit it really slow and pop over it. the twenty footer is tough because its hard to get speed. the kid who lives there built a berm thats good, but you have to start all the way by the road to get speed. if you go to ride there PLEASE spring for a bag of cheap cat litter and leave it there, because people who build these have a hard enough time with the stupid sand, and they need cat litter to firm stuff up
Recommended Route: talk to modern extreme sports, they will tell you where it is.
Other recommended trails in the same area: state hospital down hill and dirt jumps
