Ridden Trail: Once a week

Weekend Warrior Summary: Split Tree was basically the trail that got me into riding. Its not the hardest trail and its definately too short (worth the ride for sure, but when it ends you'll be bummed) as you could take a loop and ride it three times before dinner. In the end, its pretty much the perfect trail if you just wanna jump on your bike and have a fun but not too rigorous ride. For an extra treat, when you reach some kind of powerline overhead right before a downhill, get off your bike and hike strait up. When you reach the top (not much of a hike) you'll be treated to a tight view of the marquette area, a lot like the one at the top of mt. marquette. Oh and if you fall in the rock garden, fall to the left, trust me. Recommended Route: The way I always take is just too hard to explain, just use the other ways listed. Other recommended trails in the same area: I recommend just finding a random trail and getting lost, bring a sleeping bag and a six pack (and your best friends little sister), its hard to go wrong around here.
