Mixed gravel, beaten path, and sand. Wide and mostly well kept. Shared with hikers and horses. All paths clearly marked.

Summary:
While touring through Grand Rapids I stopped here because the chamber of commerce said it was a MTB trail. This is just a double track and cedar chip trail and even then, it is poor. Don't bother with this one.

Recommended Route:
None of them

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Poto, Highland, pontiac lake-- In grand rapids, Bass river and cannonsurg are Ok

Summary:
This isnt a Trail. OK in winter it may be good for sledding. Down a few hills. As far as riding. Uhh Cool its like over in 2 minutes. SHORT SHORT SHORT. Technical. Umm NO. I can fit my full size truck down these trails pulling a trailer. Dont even bother. But in the winter I will keep this place in mind to take the kid sledding.

Recommended Route:
None, What A Joke

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Yankee Springs, Bass river, Cannonsburg (Ski/State Game), Ft. Custer

Summary:
I suppose I'd call this a nice beginner trail, but sand pit after sand pit prohibits me from calling it even that. To top it all off, the people on horses have apparently noticed the lack of bikes on the "bike only" trails, so they've decided to go in there and tear it up. Hoof divots and horse dookie everywhere. Overall not a good ride for any skill level.

Recommended Route:
start driving away as fast as you can

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Bass River; Hofma park if you are a real beginner

Summary:
i'd say this trail really sucks, but that would be my opinion. this is a good trail for a morning "quickie" but thats about it. there were only 2 downhills that i thought were decent. otherwise there were minimal hills and the scenery wasnt all that great either. the very last part of the trail is very long and boring as hell! there's nothing accept a corner here and there and flat ground. beginners welcome!! but if your a real mountain biker, go on over to egypt vally or yankee.
