Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

, from Grand Rapids Summary: The trail is fast, flowing, and fun. Not very technical, but gets better the faster you go. Nice high speed descents. The scenery is nice. Recommended Route: Depends on fitness level rather than skill level. The trail is not real technical but the difficult and more difficult sections require you to be in decent shape. Other recommended trails in the same area: Not much in this area. If on the West side of the state check out Yankee, Ft Custer, the NTC, and Robinettes.

Ridden Trail: Every few months

Reviewed by: Drew
, from Saginaw Summary: This is a fun trail to ride, and one of my favorites. Located in a large moraine, it consists of fast, swooping singletrack that, while sometimes narrow, isn't very technical. It's one of those trails where you just "flow." It has a couple good uphills that'll get your legs burning, but the long downhills are worth it. If you want a good workout, ride the "black diamond" trails, or you can ride the "blue" or "green" trails for a less strenuous ride. Recommended Route: Wherever your ability level allows; the trail difficult is clearly marked on all the trails. Other recommended trails in the same area: Hanson Hills

Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

, from Michigan Summary: The trails are in the AuSable State Forest with some nice scenery. Give yourself time(15 miles of trails) if you want to ride them all. Several of these trails have nice downhills with some tuff hills waiting at the bottom so ride as aggresively as your conditioning and skills allow you. My suggestion is that you take it easy on the trails the first few times so that you get used to them. Once you accomplish this you can ride as hard as you want. I ride fairly hard and I found these trails very challenging. MAKE SURE TO RIDE IN THE PROPER DIRECTION SO THAT YOU DON'T SMACK ANOTHER RIDER. Recommended Route: Take the more difficult and most difficult routes. The trails are #'ed and are confusing at first so give yourself time to get familiar with them.
