Ridden Trail: Once a week

Weekend Warrior Summary: Cadillac Pathways is the best spot to ride if your in the Cadillac area! The only downside to this trail system is the sandy spots that seem to appear at the worst possible times. There are many options for riding on the marked trails, but if you know where to look you can find un-marked trails that can get real technical. If you decide to ride against the directional arrows for the trails don't be suprised if you get a rude comment or two. This trail is truely not directional, but most people don't understand that fact. Make sure to do the whole 10 mile loop and keep an eye out for those trail markers. There are lots of spots to get lost at! Recommended Route: Take 13th up and over the freeway and past Baker College, CTC will be on the left. Turn in at the last building and the trails are behind it. Follow the directions and maps posted on the trail. Be sure to have fun!

Cross Country Rider Summary: For being so close to town (only about a ten minute drive) this is an excellent trail for all skill levels. This trail offers everything from fast rolling double wide to snaking, technical singletrack. Surface conditions are excellent with moslty hard packed to moderetly hard packed dirt. There are a few bunkers of sand spotting the trail but nothing real MTBr's cant navigate through. In the summer this trail is only open to Biking and Hiking so there will be no horses or ATV's to dodge. Recommended Route: Some riders belive this trail to be directional but it is not. The trail maps show distances from point to point but the actual trail is marked and posted in both directions on trees along the different routes. It does get very boring going the same direction every ride. If you do try another direction be careful of other riders and hikers going the opposite direction and do not be surprised if someone yells, "Hey, You're going the wrong way." Other recommended trails in the same area: The only one I can recomend is any stage of the North Country Trail system. This is a very challanging, technical trail in the Manistee National Forest with many trail heads in the area. Everything else must remain a secret.. Sorry.

, from Cadillac Summary: I've riden this trail a couple times. It's quit fun, except for the sand at the hill bottoms. A couple fun and fast spots and you'll maybe see a few other people biking it too. Great spot for a good ride.

Reviewed by: Mike Summary: There are some trails that break off the main trail towards the vocational end that can get pretty thecnical, but you almost have to know where thay are. One big uphill twoards the north end and alot of nice D/H, most of the time there is sand at the bottom of the hills that you have to watch out for. Recommended Route: Start at the vocational school end unless you are a real begineer then start on the end north east of Cadillac Other recommended trails in the same area: VASA trail up twoards Fife Lake, not too many hills, nice technical trail

, from i wish i lived in cadillac Summary: a buddy and I rode this trail and thought it was pretty decent. But when you combine this trail with the other trails available in the Cadillac area you realize this would be a great place to live if you are a mtnbkr. Take a dip in the local swimming hole to cool off. Recommended Route: follow the locals directions Other recommended trails in the same area: North country trails.
