Up and down, it runs up and down through an old stream bed, over boulders, broken up rock, and some niceley packed dirt with a couple logs thrown in there.

Summary:
it has actual hills that take more than a minute on the downhills. good mix of technical and fast downhills too. lots of trails to explore. you can easily make a weekend out of the place, if you drink a lot at night and sleep late. check out this site for maps:

Recommended Route:
the above directions are swell, but this trail should be listed as Holyoke Range. i know i rated this before, but it's gone and i don't think i said anything cheeky.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
mt. toby. smaller, but the telephone line trail is a ridiculous downhill
