Mt. Ann Yellow Loop

Average Rating:    (4.5 of 5)

From Laurel St. this trail starts after the second gate on the right hand side, follow yellow markers carefully and you will be taken on an 8 mile journey to the top of Gloucester MA...Mt. Ann Park. This trail is a true test of all mountain skill the terrain varies from flat XC to big up hills, steep rock rollers, drops, jumps, technical skinny trails. Seems fairly fresh....But a beautiful use of natural terrain. A lil something for everyone, from XC-Freeride-DH enthusiast. Very Challenging!

Summary:
Just overall great network of often changing terrain.... A great way to make use of the land that has been abandoned for a long time now.... very private trail system although the yellow markers can be hard to follow so pay attention..... Trails starts out from main fireroad then heads up a double track for the first mile or so, after crossing a man made rock runoff climb up to the right into some great singltrack that continues for almost 4 miles bringing you to a freeride paradise, loads of drops and rollers, at the bottom of this section you will follow some pretty nice double track that has lots of features and rock gardens, be aware that in order to get to the good downs you have to take on some big ups!!! Not for beginners but intermediate to advanced riders will love honing in there skill here.

Recommended Route:
YELLOW
