Trail Directions
Park at Navin Rink off Rt 85. Pedal across the street and down behind the old dump. This winds around and you come out under the new rail trail east of Fitchburg St. Ride along the fence and then cross Fitchburg St. Now follow the fire road (sorry, it used to be a fire road until the decided to put in a strip mall. Keep heading toward the 290 off ramp, Take the last left up the hill. This is just plain sweet singletrack. Its a big loop, which runs all the way to 495 and 290. The midway point sits high up overlooking the off-ramp. You can see for miles on a clear day

This trail sucks. Not only has a construction site wrecked the beginning, but also what was the middle to end. The trail is also not exactly singletrack. More like doubletrack. It is also very muddy in the "stream crossings." This trail is just plain terrible. I was very dissapointed b/c the initial review by DC2 is very misleadng. Never go here!!!!!!!!!!!! I WOULD GIVE THIS TRAIL A NEGATIVE FIVE STAR

Recommended Route:
Let me just say, if you are, for whatever stupid reason, going to ride this "loop" commence at the batting cages across from the navin rink of rt85. At the end of the road with the batting cages there is a rail trail. while only about 1/2 mile long it will dump you out at fitcburg st. cross and enter construction site. go to end and quicly go up hill. take left route

Other recommended trails in the same area:
go to nobscot or GBF instead
