Summary:
Not bad. My buddy and I rode it last weekend. I can only speak for the southern half, which was mostly rocky single and double track. Some good climbs and descents, and we managed to find some abandoned North Shore stuff that hadn't been used in forever and was rotting away. In that area were some drops and decent downhills, but the rest is mostly mildly technical climbing.

Recommended Route:
If you keep your eyes peeled and see the bridges out in the woods off the main trail, you'll find some drops and a couple good descents.

Summary:
This is a state forrest and such is maintained fairly well and marked at almost every intersection.A fire road runs through the center of the forrest dividing it into a North / South land parcel. The Southern half is rolling single and double track littered with lots of rocky/rooted sections. There are lots of short technical sections and some real narrow single track twisting through the woods. The Northern section has a faster more downhill oriented trail system on it.(world cup it is not).

Recommended Route:
You can download a map off the Bay Circuit Trail Website for this section of forrest, but you really must ride this area to find the fast technical stuff thats fun to ride. Motorized vehicles are no longer allowed, but have left some good berms throughout. The whole trail system lacks jumps of any kind. This is a great local ride for begginers through intermediate that can be completed in 2-3 hours if you loop the trails in sequence. You'll never run into anyone telling you to slow down and the few horses I've seen are mostly on the main fire road. Although its not the toughest I still give it 4 chillies because you can ride without being bothered by anyone.
