Coke Plant

Fast, rolling hills. Very little difference in altitude, but a multitude of short, challenging hills. After the ride, do the infamous parking lot to lower lot gap after the ride. Some trails are rideable to beginner riders, but most are apropriate to intermediate trail riders. There's also a bunch of stuff for the expert trail/freeriders (like the lot to lot gap. Pretty burly.) Most the stuff I ride there is SUPER hard. I would say extreme for most of the trails I do there, but it is mostly advanced ones , hence the rating.

Trail Directions
Go to the bottling plant in the industrial park on the border of greenfield/turners. There's a huge network of trails there. Or, go on one of Bicycles Unlimited's rides there. Bob who owns the shop will pick a route based on the group's skill level, and free refreshments are provided after the ride. Bring a bike and a good attitude, because a good time is all but guarenteed.

Unfortunatly the coke plant trail system has all been cut down 7 acres clear cut and the rest of the forest logged.

Recommended Route:

Summary:
I'm mostly amused the last reviewer actually used Bob's names for the trails as if they were universally accepted! Pretty good ride, better at night...enough trail options here to determine how hard you want to make it.

Recommended Route:
Well, its best when combined with the warm up around the stop and shop

Summary:
I posted for this place, so you already know what to expect. Some honorable mentions are (for climbs) the hill of doom (short, steep, very technical), double death (same as above but longer, steeper, and as the name implies, there are two) and the redrock climb (at the end of the powerline section I described above. without speed it is impossible, as it is very steep to ride DOWN!) desents include the chute, the luke skywalker desent section. Also, don't forget the parking lot gap at the bottling plant itself!

Recommended Route:
Up luke skywalker, through the powerlines, down the chute, up the hill of doom, follow race route back.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Over the river and through the woods to visa trail, motocross track in deerfield, stairmaster, from the rock to the race course to the refrigerator at eaglebrook.
