Nice single track, some very technical sections, difficult when wet.

Summary:
These trails can be ridden by the best of the best or even first timers. There are fast downhill sections, steep climbs and pretty nice freeride spots. And there are some easier spots for x country. I would say this mountain range is in the top 3 best riding spots in western mass

Recommended Route:
for the xc people the far east. and for the freeride/DH the west side (the rollercoster)

Other recommended trails in the same area:
for those xc people Lithia Springs is OK (located of rt.116 on pearl st.)

Summary:
This is one of the new, really awesome new trails to appear in the Holyoke/ Batchelor street area, and like all the others it wonderful. The guys who build these trails are master craftsmen-never missing an opportunity to allow the natural terrain of an area to enhance the quality of a trail-we should all buy them beer!
As for this trail, it's an extremely challenging, boulder rock, rock ledge strewn windy single track..I think it's the most challenging (rideable)trail in the park, and it's really close to the Batchelor street parking area so it's perfect for either a rigorous beginning or a challenging finish to a good days ride.

Recommended Route:
The route is pretty much one obvious loop (If I.m thinking of the right trail)

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Hey, check out the Yokun Ridge an hour away in Lennox (The Berks).
