Wrentham State Forest

Mostly rocky, hilly single track. It's difficult and will beat you up, but it can be lots of fun and it'll make you a better rider. Intermediate and up only need apply.

Summary:
Wrentham State Forest: Please treat our trails with common respect by not going around obstacles in the trail and making new trails. The trails are wide enough as they are and becoming wider due to disrespectful, selfish abuse by a few motorcycle riders who don't appreciate the beauty of Nature. This is home to many wild creatures we all love. We are just visitors. Let's all set an example for ourselves and others by staying on the trails. If we can't make it over the obstacles, we should carry our bikes over them ... not start a new "pansy" trail around the obstacles! You never know who's watching the condition of these trails and down the road may close them if we cause damage to the the terrain! Please think about it. The challenge of this sport is supposed to be about commitment, persevering, being tough on ourselves and practicing our technique until we can ride ANYTHING ... and isn't this why we do it in the first place? ... isn't this why YOU do it? Let's stick together on this now! From your trail riding friend, Red Leg

Summary:
I am 48 and an utter novice and I thought these trails wer F****d Up!!. I had an absolute blast! Yikes! The singletrack is rocky and on some of the rockier, steep uphills I had to walk. But got me gripping the bar ends and standing up in low gear. Downhill is a riot. The wider trails were, of course, faster and there is a great section that dumps you on Madison Street. Going up the road left a 1/4 mile takes you to more jeep trails. As a beginner I had nothing to compare this to, so I'm obviously pleased with myself to see it's rated difficult. There is an extensive range of trails which makes it appealing and I'm delighted because it's a short bike ride form my home. Looking forward to beating myself up some more.

Recommended Route:
Hop on at the trailhead on the right side of Taunton St. (152 ext.) (if heading south). Follow singletrack parellel to the road to the bottom of hill where old jeep trail will take you around.

huge drops,huge drops,huge drops,huge drops!!!!!!

from the parking lot , follow the highway as best you can. I've only been here once and I found exactly what I was looking for.

with vietnam closing real soon i'm willing to bet wrentham will be the next stop for some huge drop freeriding. I know it will be for me Wrentham riders prepare for the big drop invasion. The drops I've already found in here absolutely dwarf the 15 footers I've made in vietnam. See you in the spring time with a parachute

Summary:
We are a group of co-workers, and have just tried, Wrentham. It was rocky, uphill torture. And we loved it. Many trails, and we will be going back frequently.

Recommended Route:
It seems all great riding.
