Some really tachnical sections, good for intermediate riders who wanna work on their bike handling techniques and for experts who want a good warm up run.

Trail Directions
Park at the lot on Bachelor St. just off to the left of Proter St. or it will be on your left from Ahmerst St. Take Upper Access about 1 1/2 mile and it will be on your right. Don't take lower access to trail head, if you do it reversed, it sucks.

Ridden Trail:
Once a week

Summary:
Long sections of big rocks, with some short fast bursts. Always be ready to squeeze the brakes for the occasional area of loose rocks. I chip paint off my bike every time I do this trail either uphill or down.

Recommended Route:
Start at Bachelor St parking lot and ride up lower access (i think) until you see a sign that says Technical trail. This trail is better to do starting from the higher elevation back down towards the parking lot.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
The ones to the east of lower access.

Summary:
Andrew, your spelling is in err, it is serpent, not serpant God. Don't forget to cross upper access from technical and pick up Raptor to T-Rex to Jacobs to the other side where Earl et al has woven another fine web of singletrack on the Northwest flank of the Holyoke Range (just watch out for the jet wash of the Comp Edge boys over there). Between there, Bachelor St., and the myriad of other old and new trails honeycombing the entire range, maybe we should just review this place as the 'Notch'.

Recommended Route:
start @ Bachelor St, go everywhere, hopefully end @ Bachelor St.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Case Mountain, Conn, M&M trail to Wendall State Forrest, MA. DAR State Forrest, MA
