Ridden Trail: Once a week

Reviewed by: Lee
, from Quincy Summary: My earlier review of this place got wiped out, so I'm posting again. I've been riding here at least once a week (usually two or three times) after work because it's real close to it. Overall, this place isn't that bad. They've closed off a couple of the main trails due to erosion, but there's still plenty of riding to be found. If you look hard enough, you can find trails that lead to another park type of area, and there's also plenty of ridable trails over by the camp site area. It's not a great technical type of ride, but it's good for building stamina. Plenty of small hills to climb, and short desents on the other side of those climbs. You can easily ride for 2 hours here w/out crossing the same path twice, if you know it well enough. Again, I've been going here at least once a week for the last 4 years- if it wasn't fun for me, I wouldn't do it. Recommended Route: From 128, take Rt. 109 W, bear right before the Mobil, take your first right, @ the end of the road (maybe 3/4 mi), turn left. Drive 1.5 miles, then park at one of the area's on your right. Other recommended trails in the same area: Nothing REALLY close, but Gilbert and Wrentham.

, from Dorchester Summary: This place was totally BORING!!! Unless you are a pure beginner in good cardio shape, you will fall asleep at this place! After you pay the 2.50 per person (!!!) to enter the park, they charge you an ADDITIONAL 2.00 for a trail map!!! The only thing you may want to come here for is the downhills. That's all. Snoozeville! Recommended Route: None of them!!! Other recommended trails in the same area: WAMPATUCK!

, from Norwood Summary: This place is very good for people just starting out. Although It does has some really sweet downhills where you can reach about 40 just watch out for those people around the corner, there dog is taking a leak. If you go here and you know you're way around you can go to other places very near bye like Noanet, Rocky narrows etc. There is an entrence fee if you drive in, but we are bikers, so go park at shaws and ride down. The shop in the center of town rules TOWN&Country bicycles. The people are very nice there and will hook you up with whatever you need. Recommended Route: where the people are not Other recommended trails in the same area: Vietnam, Gilbert hills, Lynn woods
