Summary:
There is great stuff in the SW corner of the park. To get there, take MA 137 West/South from the Rail Trail in Brewster (and MA 6A). After about a mile, Millstone Road comes in from the left, take your first left after that on Freeman's way. From here, take this until there is a large playing field complex on the right (about a mile) If you get to the Route 6 overpass, you've gone too far. Right before the complex there is a dirt road (It is fenced and has a sign saying something about a public water supply) take this road. You can get to this road from the back of the baseball field. Take this road down a steep, fast hill to where it ends at a T. This is Silas Road, which goes around the park. It is a fun fireroad for about two miles to the right, a mile to the left. Take a right, and take your first left onto a single track. This is part of a network of trails that are pretty technical and really fun. Take a left at the T just into the pineneedle covered forest and continue on the trail. Take you first right, and then a left. I think that this will get you back to the starting point. There are many other trails that veer off from this and continue through the park. If you take your first left after entering this system, you go through a bunch of traisl through campsites, these trails will creat good loops. The other good place is accessable from the rail trail just south of the prak entrance, or from the powerlines. There are many trails into the woods, pick one and ride it. There are probably 15 or more miles of single track, and several miles of fire roads. A good map of *most* of the trails is available for $3 at the entrance gate, depending on availability.

Summary:
This is the best place to ride! I ride here all I can, as there's tons of trails. Just lok about, and you'll find at least 5 in a day! Especially look OFF the bike path -- there are multiple ones there.

Recommended Route:
If you live near here you'll know what I'm talking about. Go to the area with the large pine trees in ROWS, and look about for a small single-track which veers off the bike path. It goes on almost forever, and heads right past Rith Pond. Another way to get to it is to ride around ruth pond until you find a two large wooden logs (they're manufactured, like this [] []). THere is a lot of sand in between them. Go up that and you'll find the singletrack goes off that path.

THe fire roads are quite fun to ride, although they aren't too fast. Also, off a fire road there is a rocky downhill path which is quite difficult as it comes to a sandy cliff-ish hill.

Summary:
nickerson has a lot of short singletrack but if you keep looking your bound to find some good singletrack. you can ride fire roads for many miles, but its not an extremely fast ride. p.s. try fire tower hill off nook road, its a fast rocky downhill, downside unride-able uphill.
