Weekend Warrior Summary: Great place for the weekends. I can bike to it from my house in 3 minutes, so i don't need a ride. There's some great stuff if you bike away from the water and powerlines. While there are some good trails under the powerlines, there are some awesome singletrack trails further in that are new this year. The only problem is that no trail is marked very well (I have still yet to figure out what the difference is between the yellow and blue paint). If you explore and try to find new trails, you will be rewarded with some really long and good singletrack. Recommended Route: Get away from the water and the powerlines, and take any singletrack trail you can find. Other recommended trails in the same area: Closest one I know is Great Brooks Farm in Carlisle (it's a state park)

, from Stamford, CT Summary: The trails vary from dry dust/sand in the poer lines to wet mud around the lake. Not many trees or man made obstacles, very natural, if you like the stuff. Mostly intermediate trails, some hard stuff if you look for it, try the norther trails and the sides of the power lines. I go up once a year for business and ride in the evenings, you have the trail to your self and the mosquitos are all yours too. Recommended Route: The trail on the edge of the water is great...one wrong bump and splash!!! Lots of roots, rocks and mud. Power lines will give you some great hill climbing.

, from Stoneham Summary: Just moving out from the flatlands of northern Illinois, this was my first jaunt in Mass. While I was temp. living in Woburn, this was a great afterwork hammering. Some awesome rocky climbs and descents along the powerlines. If you're close by, check it out. The trails aren't very long, but a great place to brush up on some technical skills. Also some good root riding in the woods south of the pond. No one seems to ride out here.. it's a little gem. Recommended Route: Take a lap around the reservoir as a warmup, hit the powerlines! Other recommended trails in the same area: Lynn Woods, Middlesex Fells, Horn Pond

, from Burlington Summary: The loop around the reservoir is 1/2 fire road and 1/2 trail, its a good warm up ride that takes about 9 min. to complete. After the loop try the trial all the south side of the shore of the water. If you make it all the way without putting a foot down you've done well. There are plenty of trials through out the woods and along the powerline route so go explore!. Some of the hills along the powerline route are very challenging. Also try the trails in the conservation lands along Mill Street. The entrance to these trails is just after Spring Valley Rd on the left and just before Mallard Way of off Mill Street. Just look for the green metal gate. Some of these lands used to be a golf course years ago. Recommended Route: Either the blue or the white trails are fun to ride with some pretty good hills and tons of rocks just where you dont want 'em. Try the trail directly at the edge of the south side of the reservoir. It's killer. With lots of roots and rocks and off cambre turns its a challenge for all skill levels. Very tight and tree lined. Other recommended trails in the same area: Consevation lands off of mill street. See above review.
