, from boston, ma Summary: there's a nice paved trail if that's what you're into. as far as technical riding... the horse trails are way too sandy, and the hiking single track is completely overgrown to the point where you have to get off and push through bushes over your head on some. every now and there there's a nice open stand of trees, but those are few and not too large. if you want technical riding, don't go here. i found there was something weird in the air that made me feel asthmatic. Recommended Route: same as other people suggested http://www.state.ma.us/dem/parks/mssf.htm Other recommended trails in the same area: wompatuck

, from brookline Summary: If you look hard enough there is some fun singletrack with tight switchbacks, and short steep patches going from wooded to field to wooded areas, very narrow.. watch for horsecrap, or youll be sorry. Sandy patches on fire roads are quite unpleasant though.. hey.. have fun Recommended Route: look around off the fire roads, and horse lanes

, from Quincy Summary: All I found here were paved bike trails and sandy fire roads. The paved trails are mildly amusing for a little while, as they are twisty and hilly, but they get old fast. The fire roads are too sandy to be fun for a mountain bike- it's almost like riding on the beach. They'd be perfect for motorcycles, but I believe they are now illegal here. This is not a good place to mountain bike. Recommended Route: At some other place
