Recommended Route: all of the trails Other recommended trails in the same area: northampton

Ridden Trail: Every few months

Reviewed by: Kirk P
, from Ludlow Summary: all that this trail has to offer is one good hill climb, very short but the power line hill is more challenging. most trails lead back to the same place. I have been to a lot of other places nearby that offer a lot more and dont see as much trail building as that has been done here. (someone made a 1/4 mile single track at the foot of the mountain that goes right thru a wetland, so much for tread lightly! with this kind of thing going on its only a matter of time before its really blocked off. This is still private property!) my advice would be to do yourself a favor and ride the extra couple miles to Shenipset State Forest in nearby Stafford CT and depart from the Soapstone Mt. parking area. Recommended Route: tried them all and are relatively easy, yes it is a hill but all trails are smooth and not too difficult. Other recommended trails in the same area: Sun Valley XC course also in Stafford
