Cross Country Rider Summary: Good for beginners, or intermediate riders looking to try out this sport. Basically 1/2 of this place is a small town dump with a large field in the back of it where I got a tick on me the other half is danvers town forest. The singies are hard to find but once found are quite fun, there is a small bridge over a brook,a very muddy swamp-If you go in you will literly be knee deep, plus if you enter from the entrance near hanniford there is a huge pond almost filled with bog plants that is up to 1 1/2 ft deep, 200 ft long and it's rideable there is a trail there! Steep up hill, fun dh, and flat scts. Everywhere/everything looks the same VERY EASY TO GET LOST! Recommended Route: You can enter behind this office park near Market Basket (sorry I don't know the names of highways or roads very well), near hanniford in peabody, or what I would recomend is entering behind circut city off one of those highways, park on the left side of the store, there is a street boardering a trailer park, take that and eventually it leads to a weigh station near the town dump the field should be visible there are some gravel/paved roads that lead to singies. ( Davers town forest and the dump are connected). Other recommended trails in the same area: Lynn woods, gorden collage,greenwood-beverly,harold parker, bradly p.

Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

, from Beverly Summary: I gave this place a quick try and found the trail surface to be generally easy, but those undulating hills are a lot of work! They take the rider up and down and up and down about 20 feet each time, but without much room to get up a head of steam. I enjoyed my ride, but I would have to say that I would only stop there in the future if it was convenient. This is especially true given that Harold Parker State Forest is just 5 miles away and Boxford State Forest is about 7 miles. Other recommended trails in the same area: Harold Parker, Boxford State Forest
