Weekend Warrior Summary: Not a fan of this trail. The only difficult part about this trail is the fear of falling in the water. Little tech with high fear isn't really within my interest. IF this trail wasn't near the water i would have disliked it because it was pretty boring, but decent for beginner. Seeing as it is right by the water it is still boring but and also bad for a beginner. There were sections of trails that i got scared and walked, and it was a good idea because as i walked it i found that it would have been impossible to get by without handlebars getting clipped and throwing you in the water. There is no MTB maintenance done here either which ruins the flow in the few areas that are interesting. With all the other trials in this area i would recommend leaving this one to the hikers. When you get to the opposite side of the water from the boat ramp lot it is all double track, from ATV's. You can see ATV trails leading right up to someone's house, which you think would be enough for whatever governing agency to further investigate.

, from Southbridge Summary: more technical up & down early on, then the route levels out. don't let it all out on the downhills, 'cuz you may end up in the lake. spring '03 there are some areas which have been washed out, and about 1/4 mile presently under waist-deep water. people call this advanced? my wife has ridden it. and with the exception of the first mile or so had no complaints. I wouldn't take someone who isn't ready for some rough stuff, but for the region this is pretty mild. look out for pedestrians, and the occaisional equestrian. Recommended Route: from the boat ramp, clockwise round the lake. wait for the drier months, or you'll be bush-whacking, looking for blue blazes! Other recommended trails in the same area: lots of hidden gems in south-central MA...

, from Southbridge,MA Summary: Park at the boat ramp and catch the trailhead just to the south of the parking area(near the BMX jumps)circumnavigate the lake(s) in a clock wise direction, plenty of technical riding on both eastern sides of the lake, theres some pretty good off camber stuff that if youre not on your game, you be goin for a swim, definately ride it in the later part of the spring,Iv'e found trail maintenance rather poor and theres alot of debris from the rising waters that accumalate during the winter months.Ive also only found one section that would be a definate double "x" marker on the EFTA scale in the south eastern side,it's not the drop, but the transition at the bottom that will bite you in the ass if your not careful. Recommended Route: around the lake,....twice for a good workout

, from Webster, MA Summary: 8 mile loop that is relatively flat. The entire loop rides along the perimeter of the lake. Near the boat ramp, enter to the left by the outhouse. This trail will test your technical skills especially balance. The east side is the most technical, while the west offers more speedy terrain. Overall, not a bad intermediate trail. RIDE IN THE SUMMER! WHY? THERE IS A ROPE SWING ON THE WEST SIDE ACROSS FROM THE BEACH!! COWABUNGA! Recommended Route: Park at boat ramp at Buffumville Park. You can find a map here or in the parking area across the road near the beach. Other recommended trails in the same area: Hodges Village Dam (a.ka. Greenbrier Park) Oxford, MA...Heritage State Park, Uxbridge, MA (only for a monumental tough climb and fast downhill)
