Weekend Warrior Summary: good all round riding, lots of rocks, some puddles here and there and a few short technical trails and long trails that are easy to miss, (keep your eyes poen for people walking and BRING BUG SPRAY YOU WILL NEED IT !!!!!) Recommended Route: don't just stick on the main paths, cross the dam and once you get to the Y in the path after the big boulder stay to the left, ride it untill you see a gate leading out to the powerlines (verry sandy so walking your bike is recomended) once in the power lines head right go to the top of the hill and look to your left their's about 5 - 6 more miles of trails out there, it is still part of the park but verry few people know about it, Other recommended trails in the same area: ames, wampatuck, blue hills, miles standish,

, from Newton Summary: Definitely worth the trip for the 'joy' of technical ride. Some single track - one can go as fast as 18mph and blast thorough minor swampy and stream crossings. I've taken east single track on the east part of the lake - a kingdom or roots and rocks. Very technical, ripped my elbow. Can't gain speed to zoom through this. Uphill climbs on roots and 3 -4 inch dense rocks. Defintely good worked. Went under the power lines but saw motor bikes and returned. If you live close this is definiely worth checking out. I wish I've had this instead of Naked Man. Recommended Route: get to the main entrance

, from South Weymouth Summary: I've been riding Ames Nowell State Park since '97! Great Ride in a short time. Too bad they built a new dam and made the crossing easier. Good amount of rocks Other recommended trails in the same area: Wompatuck, Whitney Thayer Woods, Borderland State Park

, from Brockton Summary: I road there alot when I bought my first bike. I thought it was pretty tuff at first but, I really don't know where the technical stuff is. I found some stuff outside the park by way of the power lines. If you live close it is o.k. but, don't make a special trip.
