Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Weekend Warrior Summary: Odd collection of trails ranging from gravel roads to open fields to washed out rutted hills and post holed mud. Not very enjoyable for me and I probably wont go back.
I came here looking for an easy ride after riding 5 hours at Gambrill the day before. I left with a knot on my thigh, a bruised tailbone, a trickle of blood down my calf and a broken brake lever.
Any damp or muddy areas are absolutely trashed by the horses. Those equestrians trying to get bikes banned from Schaffer Farms (read the reviews) need to come up here & look at the damage the horses have done. Then they need to shut the f--k up. Recommended Route: From the parking area I rode the Tobacco Barn trail north west to the Timber Ridge trail then looped around to the left on the Pine Grove Trail where I promptly got lost despite trail markers and a copy of the map linked above in my pocket.
After dicking around trying to find my way I turned around & went back the way I came. Went over the bars when my fork bottomed out on a root on one of the steeper down hill sections. After riding Gambrill the day before this shoulda been a breeze but this trail system kinda lulls you to sleep then smacks you in the mouth. Other recommended trails in the same area: Gambrill for some rocky tech single track.
