Lock Raven- Providence Rd

Mostly fireroad and singletrack mix that goes downhill to bottom of dam. Best thing about this trail is you can use it as an extension of the Seminary Rd side of the Watershed, and then also go back into the Cromwell State Park area as well (as far as I know biking is still allowed in Cromwell...please correct if I am wrong). You can also use this trail to go to the other side of the dam, where there are more trails. Not too technical, but a few fast and swooping downhills.
Summary: These trails have endless combinations of loops and out and backs. It is for intermediate riders and offers a little of everything. A number of stram crossings add to the fun. 10 miles worth of single track and fire roads to tear up.
Recommended Route: From the parking area mentioned above enter the trail on either the right of left side of Providence as it descends into Lach Raven. To the right is a section of single track and fireroads that take you down to the dams. You must then double back. The left of Providence sends you toward the Seminary section of Lach Raven with has some nice areas of technical and fast single track along the water farther into the trail.
Other recommended trails in the same area: At Lach Raven - Dulaney-Warren Loop, Seminary(park at church), Gunpowder off Belair Rd. and anything at Patapsco!
