Summary:
pretty cool trail. It real does have alot of diffrent trails, and some of the singel track trails are prety technical. If your ever in bangor and your lookin for a fun ride check this out. You get to see all kinds of nature. I saw 2 bear cubs on "bear trail" singel track trail.

Summary:
I've ridden this area for 6-7yrs or so and know it well. All trails are contained in a square mile or less. Some are smooth but narrow and others are very techy. All the original trails are marked as animals, ie, Bear, Moose, Deer, and they are mostly contained inside the paved gravel path loop that I call the infield. These are sweet trails that can get pretty techy, but they usually zig zag across the paved gravel path, so if your new to single track its a great way to try it out then rest on the paved stuff, then dart back into the single track at another point. Get familar with this area before you cross the rail road bed and explore those trails. Trust me, the infield will keep you busy for a while. If you do cross the Rail road bed be ready for some reall fun. It's a whole seperate network of narrow, tight single track that zigs zags all over the place, allthough there are some no trespassing signs so please respect them. Some trails are more nuts than others. You can ride for a solid two hours and will only scratch the surface for what this area has to offer. If your in the Bangor area and are an avid mt biker, than you are a fortunate sole to have this place to ride. It rocks!! Talk to the guys at Ski Rack Sports about group rides if your looking for that.

Recommended Route:
Park before the gate to get a good up hill at the end of your ride. To get an even better climb at the end park up where the pavement turns to dirt. They are short climbs so don't be wimpy and drive through the gate to the lower parking lot. :)
