Not sure where the 8.6 miles comes from as I ride the outer-most trails, aside from the junction to the power-line, and get about a mile. Aside from that, it is a fun trail, with fun corners, and nice climbs. I can't say I like the bark for climbing on, but I don't regulate the trails. There are a few trails to choose from depending on your skill level. Recommended Route:
the outer rim (lookout, etc. clockwise) Other recommended trails in the same area:
Tumbledown. Havent ridden it yet, but plan to as soon as I can find the trail.

I haven't ridden here in 8 years (back when I was in school at UMF), but I cut my teeth (and several other body parts, two of which can't be mentioned)here. Great ride! Maybe I'll head up to Farm-town on a coupla days vaca just to ride here again... Recommended Route:
