Ridden Trail: Once a week

, from Westbrook Summary: me and my friend usually start on these trails. But you can ride them everyday for hours at a time and never hit the same trail more then once. On the way back to the JHS the hill down is incredible and you can reach speeds of around 45 mph. I think that anyone of any riding level can ride this trail, i've been riding ever since i got a huffy when i was little until now...years and years, and they still aren't boring. Recommended Route: Leaving from behind the JHS is probably easiest because from their you have access not only to the prides route, but to trails all the way into canada.

, from South Portland Summary: Getting better now that the logging has settled down a bit. About half the trail that the River Run is. Recommended Route: Put in at the bingo hall and head across the street. Other recommended trails in the same area: Hey Jason in Yarmouth who wrote us a review. You claim that you can 'easily make it sitting down' up refrigerator hill. Gotta call bullshit on you there. You're either 8 years old and lying, or 20 something and lying. Either way you are full of shit man.

Ridden Trail: Every few months

, from Yarmouth Summary: I stopped riding Prides a few years ago when the logging was going on. I couldn't find the trail with all the skidder tracks and no trespassing signs. Things have gotten better since then. The trails are well groomed. Well marked. Very nice. Prides has lost a little of its edge though. It used to be more rugged. Less groomed. For three years I tried to make it up refrigerator hill and never could. These days I can make it sitting down. Overgrooming. People have been carving paths around all the tough parts. But, in my opinion, Prides has always been about stamina. It is a very long loop. And it weeds out the week. It is still an awesome ride. Its just evolved. Change is good. In summary: Not too technical, well groomed, good jumps, good downhill, and a test of your stamina. Recommended Route: Bikers are still parking at the bingo hall. I haven't had any problems. The far side of the parking lot is actually a Park and Ride lot for carpoolers. Park there and cross 302. Head for the woods. Other recommended trails in the same area: River Trail, Bradbury Mtn, Acadia
