Fire Wardens Trail
1 reviews
 4 of 5

The Fire Warden trail starts as a jeep road and begins climbing the backside of Pleasant Mt. Don't be fooled however after about 1 mile it gets steep, rocky and rooty. Contiue climbing for another mile or mile and a half before you reach the summit. At a good clip it's about an hour and a half to the top. Rest...you'll need it. The decent is not for the faint of heart...this is one hairy ride....this is real mountain biking! I ride this trail at least once a year (that's usually enough for me!) and it never fails to challenge.

Summary:
This trail starts off nice a slowly with a smooth up hill climb, then after an open grassy area, things change to a much more rough uphill ride, and depending on the season a muddy ride, but once you ride or even walk to the summit just the veiw is worth it.
The ride down is alot of fun! some part are a little tricky with slick wet rocks and loose sand on high legdes also large loose gravel in the trail. however other than that i love it! I go at least once in spring, summer, and fall.
