Summary:
This is an endless system of trails some of which you may be sharing with MX'ers
but there is alot of fun Cross country riding here more than 30 miles of trail once you know your way around.

Recommended Route:
This is the tricky part.

All the Trails are East of Blue Hole, that means once you park in the Blue Hole parking lot you must ride across the street and down the road to find the trails. Starting in the parking lot head back out the way you came to Forest Rd 405 (Lookout rd.) Turn right and ride south on 405 when the road makes a sharp turn right or back west, watch your left for a small dirt road running into 405, this is Pit rd or (par rd 109) you will be headed south again when you turn on this rd. you will not go far when you will see signs on both sides of the rd telling you to stay on the trail. this is where the trails intersect. to avoid getting lost to much for your first time make a left there and follow that trail until it runs back into lookout rd that is about a 10 mile route. but like I said there is alot of trail and you could spend alot of time exploring all the different routes.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Lake Kincade has a nice loop and the wild azalea which starts at lake valentine.

Summary:
Whoa! If you are looking for a totally awesome time and you are able to find this trail, you will be very very disappointed. There is a trail there, however, it is only about a quarter of a mile long. The miles of multi-use trails are tank trails and are made of sand with a depth of about six inches. Additionally, the multi-use roads extend trough military live fire ranges and maneuver areas that are no accessible, or very dangerous. This place has the potential to provide great riding, but without major effort, it will remain a gas wasting trip.

Recommended Route:
Find another trail.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Lake Kinkaid in Alexandria has a lot of great riding. You won't be disappointed.
