Downhiller Summary: This trail offers a little something for everyone. It's what got me back into riding. Once you can ride both trails via the connection trail, you will not regret it! My advice is to ride it as much as possible to get to know them. BREC and BRAMBA have done a great job of making the most out of the land available. The only downside to riding here is all the damn rain. Bridges, cliffs, and entire sections of trail have disappeared after a single thunderstorm! If you have the chance you should ride it, besides it's free.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Just rode the Comite side of the trail Saturday Morning. It was teriffic. I have never riden there before but will be back soon.
Well kept and was alot of fun even for a novice as I am to trails such as that.
I did get turned around and kept heading back to the trail head. I would like to ride it with someone more familer with it so if there are any orginized rides or someone looking for a riding partner...I would love to meet up there.

Weekend Warrior Summary: wow .....what a blast...........
6 fast miles of loops on essentially flat terrain that twist and winds around. no rock, few roots on sandy loam.....that should dry out quickly after rain. the whole course is intermediate with the exception that the red trails have several death defying drops...careful here...real danger awaits
the fun comes from the speed at which you can ride combined with dips into dozens of gullies. it is long tight rollercoaster.
advanced riders should be able to get alot of air.
fun terrain park is located on "X trail" near TH. other red trials , whilst intermediate overall, have challenging if not dangerous drops.
nice scenery with swamps, trees, wildflife and the comite river.
excellent ride. have a ball. Recommended Route: you will probably want to do 2 loops.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Well-maintained trail that runs along the Comite River. Course is challenging enough for more experienced riders, but also can be fun for beginners. Be sure to check out X-trail which is just on your right as you enter the park. Lots of jumps and technical obstacles. There is also a Connetion Trail that allow entry to Hooper Road park which is about 3-4 miles away. Approx 6 miles for one lap around Comite. Other recommended trails in the same area: Hooper Rd Park. More "rustic" and technical.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Fantastic that we have such a nice trail system here in Baton Rouge. I haven't ridden all parts yet, but I love these trails. I really wouldn't have anywhere to ride without them. There are plenty of trails out here to keep you busy. My only complaint is that I am constantly getting lost, taking wrong turns, and having to refer to the map since there are so many trails and bypasses. I am not a very good, nor experienced rider, but I still have a blast. For a person's first experience to moutain biking, you might have to walk the bike through certain parts of the beginner's trail. If you have some experience, you shouldn't have any trouble at all Other recommended trails in the same area: Lake Wanetiri
