Summary:
I've ridden parts of this trail many times, and I love it. From one direction it is well marked, but not from the other. But, for the most part it's easy to follow. The trail is packed into a relatively small area, so it frequently loops back itself. It doesn't get much use, so it's in fairly good condition. No major hills, but it's narrow with lots of very tight turns. Beautiful forest, lot's of big old pines and hardwoods. If you have time, spend the night in the campground or a cabin and go for a canoe ride, the lake is amazing.

Summary:
A friend and I rode this trail after reading some of the reviews and talking to some locals. We were very disappointed! The trails are not well maintained and are not cleary marked in some locations. The "advanced" trail was a joke - nothing advanced at all. It had rained 3 days earlier and the trail was still very muddy! This will not be a trail I will ride again!

Summary:
I rode this trail last year and really had a good time. It was hot and humid though so that always trashes any ride for me...I will be riding it again this November and looking forward to it and cooler conditions this time. I'll report
what I find...Peace

Summary:
I just rode this trail for the first time...my first trail ride, too. I thoroughly enjoyed this trail. The trail is well marked and in overall good condition. After about 6 miles or so there is a fork. A sign indicates beginners to the right, advanced to the left. I took the advanced. The trail was not too difficult...just some small logs placed in various places on the trail. There were a couple of places I had to dismount due to lack of confidence in my skills. Overall, it was a good ride. I would recommend this trail for anyone wanting to start trail riding and for those who want to work on speed and tight turn skills. Kudos to the people who maintain the trail.

Summary:
I was tentative about riding this trail due to the low reviews on this site, but was there and I'm glad that I did... I thoroughly enjoyed the trail...It was a change of pace for me...It was well marked and was extremely fast...It's not a technical trail by any means, no rocks, just few roots, bridge crossings, few hills, lot of switchbacks, and a few long and straight firebreak type of trails, and not too tight between trees where you cannot carry a lot of speed... I found the trail enjoyable and would be a great trail for a recovery ride, high aerobic ride, etc...Or just a trail to work on your cornering skills around trees. If your looking for long climbs with fast down hills, big air, or very rocky, rooty, and rutty type of terrain, this one is not for you...If your looking for an extremely fast trail for a good aerobic workout, then you need to check it out... For me, any mountain bike trail is a good trail...I ride them all...I'm going to give this trail a higher rating because I think it deserves better...

Recommended Route:
Once you enter the park, go straight to the swimming area...About 50-75 yards before the swimming area, you will see a bike rack and the trailhead is directly across the road from it...
