Ridden Trail: Every few months

Weekend Warrior Summary: I used to ride this trail every once in a while. The only neat part was the jumps (gone now), but even before they were removed this trail wasn't that great. The jumps were man made, only about a tire width wide and 3-4' high going downhill. (more like a few narrow piles of dirt in a row) If u got slightly off track, you could be seriously injured. -My buddy broke his collar bone/shoulder. He's a drummer by trade...so it sucked double for him. Several others also broke bones, and I assume thats why they dozed the jumps. The danger factor made for a fun double, though. But seriously, how can anyone give an otherwise flat/strait hiking trail a 5!??!
Question, I used to ride the jeep trails off Ambassador Caffery. Did that whole area get developed or are they still ridable? I haven't riden seriously in a while and I'm looking for some good local trails to get my chops back.
-close enough to lafayette to ride after work. Any Ideas? Recommended Route: stay home Other recommended trails in the same area: Go north to Kisatchi?

Weekend Warrior Summary: These people writing these reviews have to be kidding with five ratings for this trail! The actual trail is overgrown and is hard to find at all, and when you do it is only about a mile long. As far as the dirt jumps and slalom course, that is pretty fun, but be very careful cause some idiots are digging holes and stuff in the transitions, basic "trail sabotage". If you live in Lafayette, check it out, otherwise don't waste your time. Recommended Route: In acadiana park (in bad area of town), park by the tennis courts and follow the power lines to the jumps. Other recommended trails in the same area: Hooper and Comite Trails in Baton Rouge, Chicot in Ville Platte
Both are worth driving to, Acadiana Park is not.

, from inner bayou Summary: i used to hit these dirt kickers regularly up until a few months ago, when i thought they were going to put hole 22 there. i guess they still exist, though. i've seen someone out there digging lately. there were 5 sets of great tables/doubles to hit. along with a section of bermed out corners to rail through. who know's what that skinny kid with the big dog has been up to in there (when i saw him he had a wheelbarrow!). i'd say check these out for yourself! seems like the possibilities are great there!! see ya'll at the trails.... Recommended Route: the way the water flows! your line options are somewhat limited, but hey we're in la. so they kinda are anyway. lots of room for more lines, just needs some shovel sweat.
