Racer Summary: Its improved some since the wind storms but watch out if it rains. Takes the first hill but watch out for the fallen tree at the bottom. If you take the second right there is a 5in branch that you have to either ride or hop over. Oh after you reach the river there seems to be a continuation of the trail but it is blocked only 400yd down the way.

Weekend Warrior Summary: This area is actually the "Loop Island Wetlands" (not Hobo Trail) which is privately owned but made accessible to bike riders (non-motorized). It is 47 acres with 21 acres of water in two ponds. Approximately 1 mile of trails surround the ponds, althouth trails are not well marked in some areas. Riding across the 247 ft. long railroad bridge is not recommended or safe as it is 54 ft above the creek bed with no guardrails.
Best and easiest entry is to drive east at the corner of Silver and Main Streets into the old tannery to the one-story red brick building (says A. W. Goodman & Assoc on building). Park by red building and enter through floodwall to east of building. Easy parking and entry is flat. Please obey posted signs. Police patrol area on bikes. Recommended Route: Travel east to first trail on right, drops to pond level with dirt paths. Proceed to Ohio River and return along Silver Creek to RR bridge area across Silver Creek. May need to carry-across berm washout by creek.
Please pikcup trash to help owner keep area open to public.

, from Glasgow, KY Summary: This is a nice trail not many climbs that are difficult. When you come to the bridge there is a nice downhill on the left side. After riding across the bridge there is a nice two stage downhill to your right. At the bottom there are some jumps and an area to play around on. Four wheelers ride in this area often from the looks of the trails. Would not suggest riding during or directly after a good rain. We rode out the way we came in not sure if there is a loop. Recommended Route: Approximately 2 miles in and 2 miles out. Take the trail down into the bottom then up and to the left around the lake at the old road take a right. You will come to an old bridge across the creek. Other recommended trails in the same area: Waverly Park, Cherokee Park, Taylorsville Lake State Park, Otter Creek, Fort Duffield, Youngers Creek, & Briar Hills

, from Louisville, Ky Summary: Decent trail system with a good variety of jumps and ramps. Killer downhill beside an abandoned bridge; if you have balls, ride across the bridge. I give it four stars for this area; it's a quick ride and close to Louisville. You can also bash through scrub brush that grows beside the Ohio River bank. Some cool views of the river. Other recommended trails in the same area: Waverly is better for overall but Hobo isn't bad for what it is.
