Weekend Warrior Summary: Overall in very good condition. Was 95+ when I rode it, and there is not much airflow anywhere, which may be the only takeaway. The trail was open and better maintained since they are doing some regional time trials on the A loop that I rode. Overall, not too technical, but challenging in spots if you are not comfortable. Couple climbs, none really terrible, nothing really bad for beginners. Overall, its a good trail for the area.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Started out on Trail A, very tiny trail with grass in path. Lots of vegetation all around the trail path. So much so it was hard to navigate without getting snagged by blackberrie briars or slapped in the face from tall weeds. There were large tree limbs and other debris in the path. Parts of the trail were hard to navigate.Very hot since there was no airflow because of the huge amount of overgrowth. Will not return until they are able to do a little maintenance to the area. Has potential but needs a bit of work.

Weekend Warrior Summary: In it's current state, it's rugged and overgrown. Has lots of potential though, but needs a major overhaul to be something more then a kids bmx woods trail. Sight lines are horrible pretty much the entire time due to vegetation growth. I only did the first half because it was extremely hot that day. Especially in the woods, it's so overgrown and thick in most spots there isn't any airflow, you just bake. I think this place has tons of potential if some trail building funds were allocated and got some real trail builders out there to reform the place.

Racer Summary: Trail was in great shape with only one fallen tree over the trail about 3/4 of the way around the B trail. Some slight washout with exposed roots but the trail was extremely smooth and fast overall. Pretty non-technical in my opinion but the trail quality is great. It's also fun to ride with no real climbs to speak of. Also by reversing the direction or riding a figure eight on A&B you can vary the routes quite a bit. I plan on going out here once a week or so. Ride is pretty similar to Lock 4 in Gallatin if you're familiar but there are not as many ways to vary the route here. Recommended Route: A trail to B trail in a figure 8 using the main road to connect them. Other recommended trails in the same area: Canal loop/N-S trail at LBL...Lock 4 in Gallatin TN...LBSRP loop near Cadiz

Reviewed by: Rick Holeman Summary: There have been a few new short technical sections added in the back of A Loop and the back of B Loop. Watch for several flags in one area marking the sections. Recommended Route: The Grapevine Loop is in a primitive park owned by the city of Madisonville. It is closed off during the winter months to cars and vehicles. You can park at one of the churches close by or at the entrance to the park and ride from there. The trails are marked with orange flagging for now until a more permament marking can be put up. Bear with us because some people pull the flagging down in spots.
