Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Weekend Warrior Summary: Previous review stated 10 mile single track and 7 mile road. I would say roughly 2 miles of that are gravel and the hardtop portion was relatively traffic free.
Trail follows a creek but is rarely very close to it. You do cross it at one point where it appears to come out of a cave. Much of the time you are higher up on the sides of the valley going in and out of the various draws. Unfortunately, Ridden from Turkeyfoot clockwise, the best downhill is the gravel road. Still anyone who bikes and comes close to here should check it out. I did see 4 motorbikers tooling along on the trail. Couldn't have beeen much fun on the tight sections. Unfortunately those ATVers caused ruts on some sections leading to unridable mucky sections. Recommended Route: anyway works. i wouldn't mind going back and riding counter clockwise. Other recommended trails in the same area: none ridden

Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Reviewed by: Alan Bell
, from Williamstown KY Summary: Medium climbs, lots of embedded rocks. One mucky section. Nothing very fast. Recommended Route: Ggnnarly singletrack!! Great for technical riders. You can go out and back, or head back to the Turkeyfoot Picnic Area on the road by turning right on KY 1209, right on KY 587, and right on the Turkeyfoot access road. Other recommended trails in the same area: Follow the Sheltowee Trace south for wider, ATV trail. Long climb up to ridge, across KY 89 to fast, rolling downhill to US 421. One mile north on 421 and the Sheltowee continues to the left, on to S-Tree Recreation Area and ATV heaven.
