TRAIL LOOPS AROUND THE LAKE, OFFERING A WELL GREAT VIEWS OF THIS CITY PARK. THIS IS NOT A DIFFICULT TRAIL, AND IS A GREAT TRAIL FOR RIDING WITH INEXPERIENCED RIDERS OR JUST HAVING A LEISURLY RIDE. ALSO THIS IS A GOOD PLACE TO LEARN TO RIDE IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE SPORT.

Summary:
a poorly managed trail located near a closed down wal-mart, a colt bottling plant, and several car dealerships.

mountain biking allows participants to view their surroundings from a different perspective, an appreciation and a respect for nature. freeman lake park is a mish-mash of non-native plants and litter.

this IS a beginners trail for mountain bikers. freeman lake park is better served for the weekend pedestrian (wishing to escape the daily subdivision scenery). technical approach need not apply, extremely weak climbs and lackluster descents leave you searching for standing roots to give you a shake.

if it wasn't for the red clay, you'd swear it was just a poorly maintained country road.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
otter creek, slap on your armadillos and take it to the street(undermine that equipment you spent money on!! hahaha)
