Summary:
Just a heads up everyone. This trail has been neglected. It was once the sight of many NORBA races, but tis no longer the case. For the Wichita, KS area, this area has some really good potential, and if we make a good trail system around the spill way area, the land manager will let us do some stuff on some of the other lake property.

Summary:
I rode this trail last week and found it to be quite confusing. It is not marked and the trails criss-cross everywhere. It looks like there is plenty of potential for a good trail system but still needs a lot of work. Didn't find any of the death defying drops that the other post talked about, then again I was lost 90% of the time.

Summary:
Every thing from a easy trail ride to near death experience awaits you at Sante Fe Lake trail.Built behind the dam in the spillway area.Parts of this area will separate the men from the boys. One wrong move and this trail could hurt you.Be careful.Nice creek crossings and many rocks.Looping trails make it fun to ride here. I will be back.

Recommended Route:
East of Wichita on Hwy 54 about 10 miles and turn north on Sante Fe Lake rd.Go north about 2 miles and turn west at lake on SWShore Dr.You must get a permit at the Lake office up this rd then go park back by the dam.
