Ridden Trail: Once a week

Weekend Warrior Summary: The park services should do everyone a favor and post a notice stating that the trail is NOT for bikes. The sand makes it impossible to go more than five feet and if you do get on hard pack, then you have to maneuver through the two feet deep ruts all while trying to avoid the horse crap. That's right harse crap! Someone should realize that hiking, bikes and horses do not belong on the same trail. As for the stream/lake i.e. stagnant, horse crap & piss, moss covered crossings; well, just make sure your up to date on your tetanus shot and have good health care.Save your gas and head off to Colorado! Recommended Route: Stay home Other recommended trails in the same area: Maybe Wilson if you don't mind unshaded trails and camping locations.
