Easy riding in beginning, dense greenery. Opens up in the middle. Once it opens up, stay west and south, where there are numerous trails next to creek. Lots of jumps, tight turns. Only one good downhill. Not too far from PSU. Don't get caught deep in there at night, it is too dense to find your way out.

Summary:
Good for a quick ride, not much trail there at all. Would be nice if they took out all the connectors and made it a flowing trail and it would be much improved. Not very technical either, nothing that requires skill- just drops into gullys and then you come right out.

Recommended Route:
None- total chaos

Summary:
The park just opened today(7/29/09) and this was my first time riding these trails. Most of the trails are beginner trails, with a few intermediate, and "expert". But nearly all the trails can be ridden. I'm only a beginner and I rode all of the trails today. All of the trails are smooth and all the brush and overgrowth have been cleared out.

The trails that go north and south are flat, smooth and fast. The trails that go east and west are small hills that are a blast to rip down.

Recommended Route:
Drop in trail head by the rode and ride like crazy.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Wilderness Park, Farlington,

Summary:
Well used trail. Recently opened back up to the public, when they finished the overpass. I've rode these trails for the past 8 years and was delighted to see them opened up again. Saturdays after noon is the best time to hook up with a few other riders. The trail is alot of small rolling hills where the trick is to carry your speed down and up the other side. There are a few thorns to watch out for which get worse in the summer months. I can think of only 2 technical areas, but there exits were bulldozed, so its down and walk back up. Good fun trail to ride for an hour or so. I think the outside loop is about 2 miles.

Recommended Route:
Drop in at 23rd street and ride counterclockwise to avoid collisions. You do get going pretty fast in some sections.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Wilderness park in frontenac....Farlington lake trail(most technical)

Summary:
This trail is a lot of fun to spend an hour or so riding. Difficult to find a good loop because of downed trees, but there are plenty of good hills and lots of shade. A couple decent jumping hills in the middle section to change things up. Not a real technical trail, but still a lot of fun. Recommend for anyone wanting to just get out and have fun.
