Cross Country Rider Summary: It's not the hardest or most technical place to ride for sure, but there's not much else in the Pittsburg area. It's a lot of fun to ride, you can go pretty fast on the single track. Lots of hairpins and chutes on the single track. There's more potential trails - I tried blazing off into one of the over-grown areas where it looks like there was once a trail and ended up with a good case of poison ivy. It's fast and fun and convenient since my parents live right down the street. Me like. Recommended Route: Ride all of it, then repeat.

Cross Country Rider Summary: This was a really fun trail for me. I started down the gravel fire road and just cruised for a while, there seems to be quite a bit of it and it was all pretty much covered with a canopy of trees for the most part. Nice scenery. I went all the way to the back and started in on the singletrack. It was so much fun. Lots of little ups and downs, short climbs steep chutes, and ridge rides. Not a great deal of singletrack, but the trails that are there are alot of fun. Good for doing multiple loops. Other recommended trails in the same area: 23rd st.

Cross Country Rider Summary: not much singletrack really, but the little that is there is a lot of fun. the trailhead for the singletrack is tucked back in the end of the gravel trail. good for a cruise, especially if you are from the pittsburg area and want to hit some road miles too (take old main street out to the rear entrance, then hop the fence and climb the hill to the left, the singletrack is right there.)
if anybody has a group of people that would like to cut out some new trails this coming fall, email me at chasmrocks@hotmail.com.

, from Pittsburg KS Summary: Loose, sandy gravel on fireroads around park is popular walking spot for hikers. Several steep hills and blind corners can cause collisions! Singletrack section features sheer drop-off, always exciting. Great place to do 2 mile loops, ride intervals, or hack out new trails. Recommended Route: Fireroads to start then duck into singletrack. Other recommended trails in the same area: 23rd St railroad land, Joplin trails
