Seven miles west from Columbus on hiway 96, turn north on county road 70. Go for four miles and turn left and goone mile. Wild life area office is on the north side of road. Another way is to go north of Columbus on hiway 7 for seven mile to the town of Scammon, turn west on hiway 102 and go for five miles to the town of West Mineral, turn north on county road 50 and go one mile, turn right on dirt road and go 1/2 mile, turn right on dirt road, trail starts at end.
