Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Cross Country Rider Summary: We didn't even ride this park. We hiked it and decided it was best to move on to our next destination. The park is nice but all the trails are double track heavily traveled by equestrians, and therefore not conducive to mountain biking. I don't know why Iowa DNR thinks that mountain bikers want to ride rutted trails covered in horse crap. Recommended Route: none Other recommended trails in the same area: Head down to Kirksville, MO and ride Thousand Hills Trail. Take plenty of water and spare tubes!

Weekend Warrior Summary: Well maintained trails. Offer a lot of downhills and cross country sections. This is a great place to ride in SE Iowa. Recommended Route: Start off on the Bluebird/Judd Memorial trailhead. As these trails continue, other trails will branch off, providing miles of great riding.
