Trail Directions
Find West Kimberly road, it's a main road that intersects Interstate 74, 280 (called hwy 6 there), and hwy 61. Head West away from the malls. When you pass the HY- Vee and cross Silver creek, take the first right and follow it to the dead end. If you see KMart you've gone too far. Lock up and ride past the baricades. Another place to park is the trailer court on W. 49th. Take Pine street at HY- Vee north to W. 49th, then west to the main office, or the white maintanance building on the right. Take the sidewalk South along the creek, or the dirt trail on the other side.

Summary:
I don't know what trails these guys are rideing. The trail is, that is what it shouldn't be called, an atv ripped up piece of earth. I just got started on it when I encountered atv's. I ride in all conditions, except wet, and the atv's leave deep rutts that fill with water and ice up.

Recommended Route:
Keep driving to another place.

I was weary of trying anything else.

Summary:
These trails are okay for a quick ride, but get tiring easily. Not much to them. Stay out if it is muddy, too. The earth is mainly clay and if it has rained within a few days of your riding, it is really slick and nasty. Also, there are always a lot of motorbikes out there on weekends, so be careful.

Recommended Route:
There's really only one route to take, so there isn't much guesswork!

Summary:
Good area to test your riding skills if you want to, or just want a quick, interesting ride. This trail covers varying terain, from a hill thay call 'geronimo', to smooth, fast singletrack and everything in between. I once saw a group of 25 bmx jumpers hopping jumps one after another on the top section, just like grasshoppers. There is so much here, it may take a few visits to see half of it. Don't forget to try the many 'shortcuts', most are very technical, or aren't even shortcuts. There is a neat 'bowl' area along the creek near Kimberly with drop offs, quick technical climbs, and a few good jumps. Try to find 'Demon drop' near 'Geronimo'. There's a fast downhill from the top of 'Geronimo' to the bowl area. At the other end there's a scary fast downhill, with a sharp blind corner. Be sure to ride both directions if you park at the baricades, and both sides of the creek. A good place to cross is near the barricades. If that's not enough, find the trails along both sides of the creek to the north of the trailer park (behind the white maintanance building). The trail on the West side goes all the way to W. 68 street, along corn fields, and suburbs, if its too overgown, take the road back! There are new trails appearing almost weekly because of the atvs, find em all! Great play area.
