Heavily wooded bottom lands trail. Tight single track designed for trail riding by trail riders. Flat, fast, and fun!!! Great place to go with beginners or young children. Many different loops.

Every few months

Summary:
I ride this trail, hike this trail, run this trail, they've really improved since the tornado, actually in just a few months they've really come a long ways. Very fun for beginners, Harmony's trails are more advanced but too far for me. A lot of tight turns and very challenging even without hills. The scenery is nice.

Summary:
Angel Mounds got hit hard by the tornado in 2005 but is starting to make a comeback. Several people have been maintaining the trails and building new ones, and as more people start riding out there a nice smooth line is starting to develop. One new bridge has already been constructed and another one is in the works, along with some new trail options. Right now the main loop is around 2.5 miles but that should be growing soon. Local DNR has been very open to letting bikers work on the trails and build 'features'.

Recommended Route:
Park at the levee and take the first entrance, left or right. I like riding in a figure 8 so I hit every section of trail at least once in each direction.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
USI, Scales Lake, Downtown Evansville

Summary:
Was there last week and I had forgot about the tornato over a year ago. It basically took out everything south of the levi. Theres a few trails left but once you go back about 100 yards every tree is down. Looked like theres been some work clearing a trail through everything but you cant ride far. I used to ride here years ago and they weren't bad. I liked them cause they were close.

scales lake

beginner....few roots...

Recommended Route:
i like to ride down the levee and enter on the left. It is a short section that crosses back over the levee...(tabletop jump!), then continues all the way to the river.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
scales lake, linton
